Biography

Clermont E. Dionne holds a doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Washington (School of Public Health, Seattle, WA, USA).
Director of the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine and Full Professor in the Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Medicine at Laval University, he is also a regular researcher in the Population Health and Optimal Health Practices Axis.
His research program focuses on the epidemiology of musculoskeletal pain. Member of numerous national and international committees, Clermont Dionne is the Editor for the Epidemiology Section of the journal Pain, the leading scientific journal on pain. He recently chaired the organizing committee of the International Forum for Back and Neck Pain Research in Primary Care which took place in Quebec City in July 2019.
