Why did you choose this career?
I have always been driven by a deep curiosity about science and experimentation. I discovered research when I started college, and I knew right away that I wanted to get involved in this field in one way or another. I took courses in research and had the opportunity to hold academic positions. So I chose a career as a professor and researcher, and I have never regretted that choice over the past 20 years.
