Biography

Anaïs Lacasse, PhD is a full professor at the University of Quebec in Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), Rouyn-Noranda. She directs UQAT’s Institutional Research Chair in Chronic Pain Epidemiology, focusing on real-world medication and healthcare utilisation trajectories, survey and health administrative data linkage, and sex, gender and other sociodemographic differences in pain treatment. Dr. Lacasse is also the Clinical Affairs co-director of the Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN) and co-director of the Optimal use Axis of the Quebec Network on Drug Research.
