Biography
Julie Masse is an occupational therapist and clinical associate professor at the School of Rehabilitation of the Université de Montréal (UdeM). She graduated from the UdeM (B.Sc., 2000) and McGill University (M.Sc., 2009) after she carried out a study at the Alan Edwards Pain Management Unit. She combines teaching and research activities to contribute to the development of exemplary clinical practices in chronic pain management, and in intercultural settings. She is pursuing doctoral studies to adapt and implement a Danish intervention that directly targets the occupational needs of individuals affected by chronic pain in two Montréal specialized pain clinics.
