Isabelle Savard is a regular professor at TÉLUQ University, specializing in educational technology. In 2016, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in educational technology at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Japan. Her work focuses on the pedagogy of health sciences, instructional design, Culture, identification and consideration of cultural and contextual variables. She is currently the Director of Educational Technology and Distance Education Programs.
She completed her doctorate in cognitive computing, a program offered jointly by TÉLUQ and UQAM, in 2014. She completed her master's degree in educational technology at Laval University in 1996. From January 2010 to January 2017, she worked as a Educational advisor at the Faculty of Medicine of Université Laval, where she supported teaching staff and the management of various programs in major program transformations and in the implementation of educational and technopedagogical innovations. She was also assistant to the management of the 2nd cycle microprogram in health science education.
