Biography
Trained as an occupational therapist, Isabelle Quintal completed a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences at the Université de Montréal, where her work focused on interventions targeting upper limb allodynia. She then pursued a PhD in Health Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke, examining the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary effects of somatosensory rehabilitation and pain management programs in women with provoked vestibulodynia. She is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Université Laval, where her research focuses on chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy and the development of innovative rehabilitation interventions integrating sensory, motor, and motivational approaches.
