Biography
Floriane Rousseaux is a postdoctoral researcher in pain psychology at Université de Montréal and the Centre de recherche de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Her work focuses on the development and implementation of non-pharmacological and multimodal interventions for acute and chronic pain, including clinical hypnosis, self-hypnosis, immersive virtual reality, and movement-, dance-, and altered states of consciousness-based approaches. Trained at the intersection of psychology,
neuroscience, ergonomics, and movement arts, she develops a transdisciplinary approach integrating clinical research, user experience, and embodied practices.
