“The voice of students researchers” Program

Program – Open

Program Overview

This program offers you the opportunity to present your research in plain language during a live webinar intended for the general public, including people living with pain, caregivers, and anyone interested in the field. It’s a unique chance to share your knowledge directly with knowledge users and to receive their questions and feedback.

By participating, you will strengthen and diversify your oral communication skills by learning how to tailor your message effectively and present key concepts and findings in a clear, accessible, and engaging way. You will give a 30- to 45-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session where you will answer questions within your area of expertise. This interaction will help you develop the ability to provide concise responses tailored to your audience’s interests.

You may choose to present individually or in pairs with a person of your choice. A joint presentation encourages an interdisciplinary approach and enriches the interpretation of your findings. Webinars will be broadcast live and recorded for later viewing to ensure broader access to the content.

Exposure

Your webinar will receive media coverage through the social media channels of the Pain Network and the Quebec Chronic Pain Association. The webinar recording will also be featured on the Pain Network’s YouTube channel, which has nearly 100,000 subscribers.

The Pain Network will handle the publication of your content and create promotional visuals. This will allow you to showcase your work by easily sharing our posts—designed by a professional communications team.
