    • Preclinical research

      The fundamental component focuses on the basic biological mechanisms of health at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and integrative levels. It includes all research that uses intact animal organisms or their cellular components, cell lines, or human cells and tissues.

      Clinical research

      The clinical component generally includes all biological, medical, and epidemiological research involving human subjects. living environment, etc.
