Biography
Adrien Nourry is a PhD student in a cotutelle program in health sciences between the Université de Sherbrooke (Canada) and the Université de Picardie Jules Verne (France), under the supervision of Pr. Guillaume Léonard and Dr. Thierry Lelard. His work lies at the interface of motor control, cognitive and emotional factors, and the neurophysiological mechanisms involved in the presence of pain. His doctoral project focuses on the expression of anticipated pain threat through kinesiophobia, and aims to understand — through a translational approach encompassing behavioral, neurophysiological, and clinical perspectives — their contribution to the chronification and persistence of pain symptoms.
