Biography

Sarah Bouchard is a clinical occupational therapist, working in physical and mental health, with clients living with acute to persistent pain. Her interventions are inspired by the knowledge she acquired during her professional baccalaureate at the University of Montreal, during her graduate certificate in chronic pain management at McGill and during her certification in sensory rehabilitation of the neuropathic pain, of which she is one of 25 Canadians to hold the title.
Following her expertise and her involvement in the network as assistant to the sensitive rehabilitation method department, assistant editor of the open access journal e-News Somatosenory Rehabilitation, trainer and member of the Task Force group, she was elected president of the network for the annual mandate from September 2020 to 2021. She has since held the mandate of former president until September 2022. Academically, she is currently pursuing her studies in research in order to optimize the use of self-management strategies by people living with chronic pain.
