Biography

Dr. Salima Mamodhoussen completed her doctorate in psychology at Université de Montréal and her post-doctorate in collaboration with Université Laval and Université de Montréal. For nearly 20 years, she has been a psychologist with the Department of National Defence, at the 41st Canadian Forces Health Services Centre in Montreal. She is also a clinical advisor in psychology for the province of Quebec. She has also held the position of Director of Quality and Practice Development at the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.

She provides training and supervision to clinicians in a variety of settings. She specializes in the treatment of post-traumatic stress, operational stress injuries, moral injuries and co-morbid conditions such as chronic pain.
