Biography
The RQRM was born in 2012 from the merger of a FRQ-S group, the University Research Group on Medicines (GRUM), and an FRQ-S network, the Quebec Network for Research on the Use of Medicines (RQRUM). The integration of these two pillars of drug research implied a rapprochement between fundamentalist researchers on the identification and validation of biological targets, medicinal chemistry, biopharmacy and pharmacology, and researchers in pharmacoepidemiology, pharmaco-economics, evaluative and qualitative research and methodologies of epidemiological research aimed at evaluating the use of drugs in practice settings.
