Biography
This network was created to form a Quebec-wide forum of student in the pain research field as well as to help trainees to establish collaborations between different universities of the province. One of the first mission of the QNJPI was to empower aspiring scientific investigators and help them do the best science possible, regardless of the resources available in their laboratories.
The main mission of the QNJPI is to promote networking and to foster the creation of scientific collaborations among trainees across different areas of expertise.
The QNJPI goals are :
• Provide innovative educational opportunities
• Inspire high-quality reasoning and scientific behavior
• Support trainees to develop their research and communication skills
• Establish communication networks between trainees and academic, industrial and communal institutions
• Foster a sense of belonging towards within the network
