Biography

Pauline is a physiotherapist who graduated in France in 2015. She has practiced in both France and Quebec with diverse populations living with musculoskeletal and neurological pain conditions. Seeking to deepen her knowledge of pain and become involved in research, she began a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Montreal in 2024. Since September 2025, she has been pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences through a fast-track transfer program under the co-
supervision of Cyril Duclos and Diana Zidarov.

Her research focuses on the combined effects of virtual reality, muscle vibration, and non-invasive brain stimulation to recreate a walking perception and reduce neuropathic pain following spinal cord injury. She is also involved in the co-development of a tool designed to support the understanding and self-management of neuropathic pain among individuals living with spinal cord injury.

Her research interests include neuropathic pain, neuroplasticity, neuromodulation, sensory afferents, virtual reality, and pain education.
