Biography
Dr Benhaim is a physiatrist, graduated from the University of Montreal and completed a double subspecialty in pain management. One at the University of Sydney, with Professor Emeritus Michael Cousins and his team, the second at the CHUM Pain Management Clinic. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Montreal and co-director of the pain management clinic at the Institut Universitaire de Gériatrie de Montréal.
Dr. Benhaim is one of six Quebec physicians holding the Royal College’s new subspecialty in pain management. He is an expert in the medical management of pathologies of the spine (back) including interventional approaches to the spine.
He also has expertise in orthobiological and regenerative medicine, being one of the rare Quebec doctors to practice intra-articular and intra-discal stem cell infiltrations.
