Biography
Pascal Tétreault is a researcher in the Medical Imaging Axis of the CHUS Research Center and Assistant Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences at the Université de Sherbrooke. He obtained his doctorate in physiology from the University of Sherbrooke in 2013 under the supervision of Pr. Philippe Sarret and subsequently completed two postdoctoral internships, a first with Pr. Vania Apkarian at Northwestern University in Chicago and a second with Pr. Christian Beaulieu. at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. By combining brain imaging data with different genetic and behavioral analyzes, both in humans and animals, his laboratory is interested in developing predictive models of the development of persistent pain and response to treatments in order to promote a precision medicine.
