Biography

Mélanie Bérubé is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at Université Laval. She is also a regular researcher in the trauma, emergency and critical care team at the CHU de Québec - Université Laval Research Centre. She completed a PhD at McGill University and a postdoctoral fellowship in epidemiology and biostatistics at Université Laval. Her research interests include:
- The Prevention of opioid use problems and chronic pain.
- The Improvement of mental health practices in patients with traumatic injuries.
- Learning health systems and the development of quality of care indicators for vulnerable populations.
