Biography

Louis De Beaumont is a clinical neuropsychologist with research and clinical expertise on the deleterious effects of concussions and polytraumatic injuries. He adopts a neuroscientific approach based on cutting-edge neuroimaging and an interventional approach by non-invasive stimulation of the brain. He is the leader in several fundamental research initiatives (CRSNG), pre-clinical studies in humans and rodents (CIHR 2X), and randomized clinical trial (CIHR Team Grant). Holder of the Caroline Durand Foundation Research Chair in Acute Neurotrauma at the University of Montreal.
