What part of your job do you enjoy the most?
I love the fact that I continue to have a role to play in the world of pain management. I lost the ability to work full time due to the impact pain had on my life. I have learned that I have a new role as a patient partner to educate others, be involved in research, and help look at barriers and facilitators for the uptake of evidence-based practice. I love that I feel my contributions are valued and I can be involved at a more comprehensive, multidisciplinary level. I strive to be involved more in the projects that match my expertise and where I feel I can make a difference.
