Biography

An athletic therapist and clinician, her research interests focus on physical injuries sustained in a sport context, and the innovative therapeutic avenues associated with them. Her main focus is on the neuroscience behind concussions in sport in order to provide better prevention, recognition and management of head injuries. She also serves as the Chair of the Concussion Management Committee of the Corporation of Athletic Therapists. In addition, her graduate studies have allowed her to acquire pediatric expertise on a wide range of injuries and conditions in youth under the age of 18.
