Biography
Karen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Psychology from McGill University in 2020. She completed her Master's degree in Psychology at the University of Montreal in 2022. During her Master's research, she examined the associations between the daily occurrence of stress and pain intensity in people living with chronic low back pain. Karen began her PhD in Psychology in 2023 at the University of Montreal under the supervision of Dr. Gabrielle Pagé, at the CHUM Research Centre's Laboratory for the Prevention and Management of Chronic Pain. She is studying the associations between biological markers of stress, subjective stress perception, and the experience of pain.
