Biography
I’m currently enrolled as a PhD student at the Faculty of Nursing of the University de Montreal.
I completed a master’s degree in nursing at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Montreal (2018-2021) that consisted of a pre-experimental pilot study to develop, test, and evaluate an e-learning training focused on management of burn care and pain management of children with severe burn injuries for novice nurses.
As for my professional background, I worked at the CHU Sainte-Justine from 2016 to 2025, as a registered nurse in pediatrics in the postoperative and burn care unit (2016-2020), Nurse Educator (2020-2021), and Nurse Clinical Manager (2021-2025). I served as an Assistant Professor of Clinics at the Faculty of Nursing of the University of Montreal (2022–2025), developing and teaching undergraduate courses in pediatric nursing.
Finally, my doctoral research project will focus on evaluating the effects of a virtual reality intervention on stress, pain, and breast milk expression in mothers of premature newborns.
