Biography
After working for 15 years as an occupational therapist in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Paris (1996-2011), Ms. Poncet completed a PhD in France-Quebec (2008-14) and then pursued two post-doctoral fellowships in Rehabilitation (U. of Montreal) and in Psychology (Concordia University). Her research interests include (i) situational/ecological assessments of individuals with acquired brain injuries and cognitive and/or neurovisual disorders, (ii) the development of complex interventions, their documentation and the measurement of their effects on activity and participation. Ms. Poncet has developed skills in (i) methodology, such as scoping reviews, participatory or collaborative action research, qualitative and mixed methods research, research designs with repeated measures and case studies, and (ii) the development and implementation of new interventions. (ii) documentation and program evaluation, and (iii) integrated knowledge transfer. She is a recipient of the FRQS Junior 1 Career Award - Quebec Health Learning System Support Unit.
