Biography
François Dube obtained a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy in 2001 and a master's degree in biomedical sciences (rehabilitation option) in 2007 from the École de réadaptation de l'Université de Montréal. As a physiotherapist, he has worked at the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal (IUGM) since 2001. He has worked in various short-term, long-term and outpatient programmes. He has been a clinical associate professor at the Université de Montréal since 2008. He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in physiotherapy programmes at the Université de Montréal and acts as director for master's students. He supervises trainees and initiates the development of clinical projects to improve services and management at the IUGM's chronic pain management clinic. He was involved in the Réseau provincial de recherche en adaptation-réadaptation (REPAR) from 2010 to 2020 for knowledge transfer activities and the promotion of REPAR. He currently divides his time between the pain clinic at the IUGM and teaching at the Université de Montréal.
