What is the main strength of your field of research?
The main strength of my field of research is that it places patients at the core of projects, developing innovative and practical approaches for and with them to improve pain management and promote rapid transfer to clinical practice. This strength is based on solid teamwork: I collaborate with many colleagues with complementary expertise, researchers, and healthcare professionals, which enriches each project and allows us to combine scientific knowledge, clinical perspectives, and patients' lived experiences. By working in partnership with them, we design tools and interventions tailored to real-world needs. This collaborative approach also facilitates the rapid transfer of knowledge into practice, making research immediately useful and applicable. The goal is to connect science and people to support personalized, empathetic, and evidence-based care.
