Biography
Audrey-Anne Cormier, PT, M Sc, is a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Montreal and the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center. She has been a physiotherapist since 2021. In 2022, she began her research career with François Desmeules’s team, focusing on primary care services and the optimal management of musculoskeletal conditions. Since 2024, she has been a teaching assistant in the Physiotherapy Program at the University of Montreal. Alongside her academic work, she serves as Scientific Director for the Association Québécoise de la Physiothérapie and maintains an active clinical practice, seeing patients on a weekly basis. Her research interests focus on improving access to high-quality, evidence-based care for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions in primary care settings, with a particular emphasis on patient therapeutic education.
