Biography

Anne Hudon, PhD, is a physiotherapist and assistant professor at the School of Rehabilitation at the University of Montreal. She is a regular emerging researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Metropolitan Montreal (CRIR) and at the Center for Research in Ethics. She completed a doctorate in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Montreal as well as a postdoctoral training at the University of Waterloo and the University of Ottawa. The ethical aspects of the practice are a key theme of her research, notably professional ethics as well as equity and justice in care. The analysis of health policies that govern care (organization of care, various roles of health professionals, legislative texts) is also an important component of her recent work. The rehabilitation of injured workers and the influence of third-party payers on care is also part of her current research. Finally, she is very interested in innovative projects to improve care policies and the care of people living with persistent pain.
