Biography
Aline Hajj is an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Laval University (Sept 2022) and a regular researcher at the CRCHU of Quebec (Oncology Axis). She holds a PhD in Pharmacy (Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, 2005), a DU in clinical and hospital pharmacy (2006) and two Masters degrees. She completed her PhD studies in cotutelle between Lebanon and Paris (2012). Named Laureate of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Paris Descartes (2009) and selected among the finalists of the "Franco-Lebanese Excellence Award" (2015), she was a visiting professor at the University of Minho (Portugal; 2018- Erasmus program) and at the Universities of Paris (2021-22). She was selected by the Lebanese National Commission for UNESCO to represent women scientists in research. With 15 years of experience in university teaching, she had so far conducted her research work in the individualization of pharmaceutical care to the patient especially in pain. She has recently joined ERMOS, RQSPAL, and CRC. She has co-authored over 82 publications, 10 book chapters and over 100 presentations.
