Our team is delighted to have represented the Quebec Pain Research Network at the annual workshop of the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence on Chronic Pain for Canadian Veterans.
The QPRN team was in Montreal to discuss pain research for veterans at the annual workshop of the Chronic Pain Center of Excellence on Chronic Pain for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE). This unique workshop format encouraged participants to engage in constructive discussions about the findings and impact of the work conducted by funded researchers, whose project themes reflect the priorities identified by veterans during the CPCoE’s priority-setting process. The presentations drew on the testimonies of veterans who have lived through this experience, clinical practices, and research data regarding living with chronic pain and its management.
We return from this event with renewed enthusiasm for what lies ahead!
Thank you to all participants, scientists, healthcare providers, and partners who are helping to advance research and improve pain care for veterans.
