The first Quebec Day of Reflection on Pediatric Pain Research was a success!
February 10, 2026, Drummondville – The Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN) team is delighted to have organized its first Quebec Pediatric Pain Research Day. The objectives of this meeting were to:
i. Meet the members of the Quebec pediatric pain ecosystem,
ii. Present the various projects currently underway, and
iii. Discuss prospects for the future.
This event was intended to be a time for exchange and sharing so that interactions could lead to new research collaborations.
Nearly 18 people were in attendance, representing Sainte Justine University Hospital Center, Quebec University Hospital Center-Laval University, affiliated universities and centers of the University of Sherbrooke, McGill University, and the University of Montreal, bringing together a variety of perspectives: nursing, psychoeducation, counselors, knowledge brokers, pediatric physiatrists, pediatric emergency physicians, psychologists, occupational therapists, and others.
