National Pain Awareness Week takes place from November 2 to 8, 2025 and is an opportunity to raise public awareness of pain and its impact on all aspects of life. The Quebec Pain Research Network and its partners, the Quebec Pain Society (SQD) and the Quebec Chronic Pain Association (AQDC), are proud to be involved in this awareness week.On this occasion, it is important to remember that an action plan for chronic pain management in Quebec 2021-2026 was launched on November 11th 2021 to recognize pain as a major problem within our society. The action plan aims to improve access to services for people living with chronic pain in Quebec.
We invite anyone who lives with pain or who is affected by pain in any way, to take part in the awareness campaign by sharing pain-related messages or testimonials on social media and with those around you. Pain Canada has created a toolbox with suggested messages and visuals that anyone can use as you see fit. Feel free to share the campaign with your messages to create a momentum and encourage action: #NPAW2025
Thank you for helping to raise pain awareness and improve the quality of life and care available to people living with pain.
