Emily McDonald is Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine at McGill University, a member of the QPRN, and her research into the safe use of medications is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. On March 27, 2025, she will be organizing a presentation on deprescribing, addressing the impact of medications with age, drug overload and tips for talking it over with a healthcare professional. Aimed at seniors, caregivers and the general public, this English-language webinar will offer practical strategies and resources for informed decision-making. Although designed for the Atlantic Provinces, it is relevant to all Canadians.
