Gabrielle Pagé, winner of the Science Leadership Award

At the forefront of pain research, Gabrielle Pagé stands out for her leadership and exceptional scientific commitment

To mark International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Medicine honored four outstanding women researchers as part of its Leadership of Women in Science program. Among them is Gabrielle Pagé, associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, researcher at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) and active member of the Réseau québécois de recherche sur la douleur (QPRN).

This distinction recognizes her excellence in research and her commitment to advancing the understanding and treatment of pain. The program, which is supported by a philanthropic fund, provides $2,500 in leadership training for the winners, giving them access to leadership positions and major funding opportunities.
