The Canadian Medication Appropriateness and Deprescribing Network and the Quebec Pain Research Network organize a deprescribing journal club on persistent pain that will take place on February 26th at 12 pm.
During this journal club, Dr. Anne Marie Pinard, anesthesiologist and head of the chronic pain department at the Québec CHU (University Hospital Center) and QPRN member will explore two real-life clinical cases on deprescription in the context of persistent pain to explore the rotation of opioids, gabapentinoids and other types. Topics such as medical follow-up, availability of medical teams and patient engagement will also be discussed.
