The mission of the Fondation chiropratique du Québec is to support and promote chiropractic research in order to improve the health of Quebecers.
Marc-André Blanchette and Isabelle Pagé are both chiropractors, professors at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and members of the QPRN. As part of a partnership between UQTR and the Quebec Chiropractic Foundation, they will receive funding over five years to study the impact of chiropractic care on healthcare use and to improve the safety and appropriateness of chiropractic care for children and the ageing population. This partnership and support is a fine example of funding research to optimise healthcare.
