McGill Emeritus Professors are individuals of outstanding achievement and potential, who maintain an extraordinary level of activity in their research and scholarship, and who have achieved pre-eminence in their field, in keeping with the University's stated goals and emerging priorities.
Sixteen researchers became James McGill Distinguished Professors – McGill’s highest distinction – awarded to late-career researchers whose work exemplifies excellence and international leadership. Eighteen tenured assistant or associate professors were awarded William Dawson Fellowships.
Arkady Khoutorsky, Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Faculty of Dentistry and Oral Health Sciences and member of the QPRN, received a William Dawson Fellowship.
Jeffrey Mogil, Professor in the Department of Psychology at McGill University and QPRN member, becomes James McGill Distinguished Professor.
