Nancy Julien receives an award for teaching excellence

Congratulations to Professor Nancy Julien on receiving a Teaching Excellence Award in the Leadership category.

Professor at the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT), Nancy Julien is proud to have received the Excellence in Teaching Award at the Excellence 2022 ceremony of the Réseau des Universités du Québec. She was recognized for her work in the recognition and demystification of the phenomenon of pain as well as for her sustained involvement in the training of baccalaureate nurses in the phenomenon of pain. The success of her projects in higher education is the result of her ability to communicate and bring people together.

UQAT is one of the few universities to include 45 hours of mandatory training (3-credit course dedicated to pain) in the undergraduate curriculum for health professionals
