After a year of intense training, Mark Pathy spent 17 days in the International Space Station. During this trip, he devoted part of his time to collecting useful information for 25 experiences projects dealing with chronic pain, the microbiome and sleep disorders, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mark Pathy approached Dr. Pablo Ingelmo, a QPRN member and chronic pain researcher at the Montreal Children&#8217;s Hospital, with the idea of putting together a research team for the pain management component of his space experiment. This team of experts included Dr. Luda Diatchenko, Dr. Jean Ouellet, Svetlana Komarova, PhD, Lisbet Haglund, PhD, and Maryse Fortin, PhD.
