She describes how persistent pain changes the lives of those who suffer from it and how its treatment is not always obvious. She points out that it is possible to get better and that this requires the commitment of the person in pain and adequate support. The involvement of the person in pain includes the adoption of pain self-management practices. For this reason, Anne Marie Pinard, in collaboration with the Universit\u00e9 de Laval and the QPRN, has set up an online pain self-management portal: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gerermadouleur.ca\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Managemypain.ca<\/a>.
