The Consortium\u2019s first objective is to develop evidence-based knowledge mobilization tools to foster a continuum and high added-value care trajectories centered on needs. The second objective is to promote timely and equitable service delivery and efficiency to achieve better outcomes for individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GOVERNANCE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each consortium operates on three levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>i. Consortium Directors<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/qprn.ca\/en\/investigator\/gabrielle-page\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gabrielle Pag\u00e9<\/a>, researcher at Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, <a href=\"https:\/\/qprn.ca\/en\/investigator\/marc-andre-blanchette\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marc-Andr\u00e9 Blanchette<\/a>, researcher at Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, <a href=\"https:\/\/qprn.ca\/en\/investigator\/lesley-singer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lesley Norris-Singer<\/a>, patient partner. The consortium directors are supported by the QPRN scientific committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ii. QPRN Scientific Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>iii. The larger group<\/strong> is composed of student representatives, people from research and clinical backgrounds as well as any other person with expertise relevant to the work. Anyone with an interest in the field of pain is encouraged to participate in the consortium&#8217;s meetings and activities. It is also possible to participate in more than one consortium. The trainee representatives are Andr\u00e9anne Bernier and Genevi\u00e8ve Laporte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Progress<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>January 19, 2024<\/strong>, Mount Sainte-Anne. Launch of the new consortium and large-group discussion meeting that led to a first team project funding. This project focuses on measures to help people living with pain navigate the healthcare system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 8, 2024<\/strong>. Call for research project opportunities. This initiative led to the funding of two projects on the use of artificial intelligence to support healthcare professionals, and the m aping of pain education and self-management programs in Quebec respectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>October 31, 2024<\/strong>, Centre hospitalier de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM), Montr\u00e9al. QPRN organized the first in person meeting of this consortium. We were able to take a closer look on the issue of communication between the various people involved in pain management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>November 14, 2025<\/strong>, Universit\u00e9 de Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Trois-Rivi\u00e8res, Drummondville campus.
