The 19th QPRN retreat will be held from January 17 to 19, 2027 at the Ch\u00e2teau Bromont<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration will open from September 14 to November 8th. Registration link will be communicated shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2007, the QPRN has held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for its members (a 2-day event in a central location in Quebec). This event is an excellent opportunity for all members to present their work, network, develop productive collaborations and receive scientific updates from leading experts in the field of pain research. On this occasion, researchers are invited to share laboratory results and new consortia progress will be presented. This event is a great opportunity to practice communicating scientific ideas and concepts and to seek collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are cordially invited to the 19th Annual Retreat of the Quebec Pain Research Network (QPRN), to be held at Ch\u00e2teau Bromont from January 17 to January 19, 2027. This event is an ideal opportunity for exchange, discussion, and networking between QPRN members, their staff, and members of the Quebec Network of Junior Pain Investigators (QNJPI), in an enchanting setting and friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the significant increase in accommodation and catering costs, a monetary contribution will be requested from participants. QPRN members will be asked to pay $200 when they register<\/strong>, and QNJPI members will be asked to pay $100<\/strong>. The cost per person to participate in the full retreat is estimated at over $1,000 for members and over 500$ for trainees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to five students per laboratory will be able to register, with a limit of 100. Each student must submit an abstract in the \u201cSubmission\u201d section of this page; please note that an existing poster may be used.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As long as space is available, research professionals, clinical experts, and patient partners are welcome to attend, and we invite you to share this invitation with your team. Research professionals, clinical experts, and patient partners (other than consortium leaders) will be required to pay the costs associated with their participation at the time of registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spouses of QPRN regular and associate members are invited to join us for some of the meals at the members’ expense. This option may be added at the time of registration of the regular member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the success of this event, we ask that you register no later than Sunday, November 8th, 2026. As space is limited, we encourage you to register early.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
