His study looked at data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ukbiobank.ac.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UK Biobank<\/a>, a large-scale biomedical database and research resource, containing in-depth information on the genetics and health of half a million British participants, and enabled him to highlight factors predictive of chronic pain or the spread of pain to other areas of the body in individuals.
