H\u00e9bert, fellow PT, PhD, CD will present the collaboration between the QPRN and the Chronic Pain Centre of Excellence for Canadian Veterans (CPCoE). He will also introduce the brand new funding competition of the CPCoE where more than $1.3 M will be allocated for research with the objective of improving the well-being of Veterans, and their families, living with chronic pain. The CPCoE additionally has capacity building funding available for graduate students. The Capacity Building Initiatives aim to support research in the fields related to Veterans\u2019 chronic pain. The CPCoE has announced three research funding opportunities\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Addressing health system and policy gaps for Veterans living with chronic pain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Addressing the chronic pain and mental illness comorbidity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deepening our understanding of the military to civilian transition for Veterans living with chronic pain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This free and open event will be held on June 9, 2023 between 12:00 and 1:00 pm.
