Program – open<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No submission deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intended to support members from the Pain Network wishing to invite internationally-recognized guest speakers to present innovating aspects of their research program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • 5 envelopes available per fiscal year (March to April)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • 2 000$ maximum per invited speaker, the excess being covered by the visited sites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The invited speaker need to present at least on 2 sites, in 2 different cities (i.e. 2 universities or research centers in Montreal are considered as a sole site. The invited speaker would need for instance to give a lecture in Quebec City as well to be eligible).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Pain Network needs to be identified as the main partner for holding the event (logos available on demand). <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Apply in writing to the Pain Network Management Committee (info@qprn.ca), providing dates and themes of presentation, a description of the activity, and a short biography of the guest, including areas of interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Your request should include the invited speaker resume or a list of PubMed publications should be provided.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You request should include the global budget with the inputs and outputs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • You can inform the coordinator of another interested site if already identified, or you can ask that he surveys other members or sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Decision and reimbursement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • The QPRN management committee will review the request and authorize if all requirements are fulfilled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Upon receipt of proof of expenditure, the QPRN will make an inter-institutional transfer of up to $2,000 to the member who initiated the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The hosting member will be responsible of managing the logistics and the expenses in equity with the other sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
