Examples of <strong>scientific publications <\/strong>will also be shared to illustrate the practical application of this data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understand the administrative databases available in CADRISQ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify key variables;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate the advantages and limitations of administrative data for research<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore concrete examples of scientific publications based on this data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong> Open to everyone! Please note that the workshop is available in French only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WORKSHOP 2 : QUEBEC ADMINISTRATIVE DATA MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This hands-on workshop guides you through <strong>techniques for managing and analyzing Quebec administrative data<\/strong>, introducing you to variables generation, file merging, and cross-database management using <strong>realistic synthetic databases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After attending the workshop, you will receive a <strong>kit <\/strong>containing a <strong>copy of the synthetic databases<\/strong>, as well as <strong>examples of SAS programming for practical application of concepts <\/strong>to facilitate your research work in CADRISQ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Objectives: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Acquire the tools for effective management and analysis of Quebec administrative databases.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn how to manage, merge, and manipulate Quebec administrative data in a learning environment similar to that of real data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Become acquainted with the free training kit provided to each participant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisites:<\/strong> Basic programming experience (SAS, R, Stata, SPSS, etc.) is recommended to get the most out of the workshop. Please note that the workshop is only available in French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">INSTRUCTOR<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:31% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/qprn.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Dorais-Marc-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19713 size-full\" title=\"\"><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>Marc Dorais<\/strong> holds a master\u2019s degree in statistics, has over 20 years of experience working with administrative data. Founder of StatsSciences Inc., he has been working as a biostatistician consultant for 15 years.
