The platform provides expertise, consulting and services in the following areas: viral vectors, DNA constructs, conditionally expressed markers, transgenic animals, DNA encoded fluorescent tools for monitoring neural activity, ion and molecular interaction sensing, light-activation\/inhibition of neurons, cellular and subcellular tracking, and photocleavage of signaling complexes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/cervo.ulaval.ca\/en\/molecular-tools-platform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Molecular tools service<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/qprn.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/2026-Plateforme-source_EN_2-1400x934.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5156\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>This platform provides access to several new animal models mimicking different forms of pathology in humans and providing a better understanding of the factors underlying the heterogeneity of chronic pain syndromes in humans. This platform offers the access to four imaging facilities equipped with magnetic resonance imaging systems, positron emission tomography systems and a magnetoencephalography unit. The main goal of the<br>platform is to provide investigators with the knowledge and technical support to conduct genetic and genomic analyses on human or animal biological samples.
