Mark Ware named vice-chair of the new Canadian Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation

The governement of Canada has recently announced the launch of Task Force on Marijuana Legalization and Regulation, chaired by the Honourable Anne McLellan, and vice-chaired by Dr. Mark Ware.  This task force is made up of nine distinguished experts in public health, substance abuse, law enforcement and justice.  

“As a physician and researcher, I am aware of the important issues that health professionals of Canada will have to consider regarding cannabis use,” says Dr. Ware. “I have a balanced view of the subject and a strong ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.”

said Mark Ware, in an interview for MUHC Public Affairs.
